I have talked with some of you and you have indicated the other persons within your own organizations who should be present. l: As per these telephoned conversations, I am inviting each of you to come to Midland to discuss the toxicological problems caused by the presence of certain highly toxic impurities in certain samples of 2,4,5-trichlorophenol and related materials. As I told all of you with whom X have talked, we have been doing analytical and toxicological research on this problem and wish to share our findings to date with all the producers of 2,4,5-trichlorophenol for the sole purpose of lessening any hazards to health that might be attributed to this and related products. Our discussions will deal only with the toxicological and analytical aspects of thp problem * We will not discuss manu­ facturing know-how, sales, or anything else not dealing with the problems of health.
