Miller Hercules Incorporated 910 Market Street Wilmington, Del. 19898 Dear Bob t Sorry you could not be with us August 17, when Messrs. Hagan, Ingle, Knapp and I discussed what should be in the MCA statement for the hearing record on S. 76 and S. 3163* among other items. while Charlie Hagan agreed to draft this statement except for the portion that would deal with expansion of the Delaney Clause (part of S. 76), the group felt that this portion should be drafted by toxicologists, and re* quested the Hercules team to do it and send it to Charlie for incorporation with his portion of the total package. He will need it by September 6. In connection with your assignment, the group suggested bringing up to date the 1970 memorandum concerning the Delaney Clause developed with Jack Frawley's assistance. I attach a copy of this memorandum. It was felt that the emphasis might be on contracting rather than expanding the Delaney clause, if you agree. Sincerely yours. M. M.
