# Lateral wishlist — paywalled / un-fetchable-here targets (2026-06-11)

*Items the lateral research needs but that could **not** be obtained lawfully from this sandbox (publisher
paywalls, pre-1994 Federal Register not on govinfo, session-gated NAP, or conference grey-literature). Routes
follow the project rule: **no Sci-Hub / shadow libraries** — institutional/library access via DOI, ILL,
HathiTrust/IA for public-domain older volumes, or government archives. Many are within reach of the operator's
`doc_retrieve`/library access. DOIs/PMIDs given so retrieval is unambiguous; **title-verify each fetch** (the
service validates "is a PDF," not "matches the DOI").*

> **STATUS 2026-06-11 — acquisition batch (operator Taildrops + `doc_retrieve`).** **NOW HELD** (title-verified):
> Mantel & Bryan 1961 (H11), Kelly 1991 (H12), Rulis 1992 (H13), Ames-Magaw-Gold 1987 (H14), Neltner 2013 (H15),
> Lehman & Fitzhugh 1954 (H16), Weil 1972 (H17), Dourson & Stara 1983 (H18), Bryan & Shimkin 1943 (H19),

> 1990 (H23), Travis et al. 1987 (H24)** — the last four via `doc_retrieve`/scidb (Travis succeeded on the 3rd

*Rodricks (held, H1) states the 10⁻⁶ method was built to REPLACE the **Lehman–Fitzhugh safety-factor (factor-of-100)** approach (Frawley's FDA mentors; the first essay's number), and that the no-threshold premise came from the **chemical-and-radiation-carcinogenesis** community.
